Four Fort Sill soldiers and a preacher from Tahlequah are arrested in internet sex sting by Walters police department. Charged in federal court are Sgt. Scott William Johnson, 34, of Fort Sill; Charles Barry Shaffer, 45, of Tahlequah; Sgt. John Douglas Graham, 27, of Fort Sill; Sgt. Jamie Ramirez, 27, of Fort Sill; Jeffrey Allen Mayhofen, 41, of Chickasha; and Lawrence Paul Mai, 38, of Salinas, Kan. Link
In Mayes County, Leron Limon, 19, pleads to child molestation and John Kenneth Sutton, 48, goes to trial of child sexual abuse charges. Link
John Kenneth Sutton, 49, Pryor, was found guilty of child sexual abuse. Link
Jesse Darnell Reed, 15, of Midwest City, charged Feb. 2 with two counts of forcible oral sodomy, five counts of lewd acts with a child under 16, and one count of first-degree rape. Link
Charles Shaffer, 45, a Tahlequah minister snared in an internet sex sting in Walters, OK resigns as campus minister and head of the Redmen for Christ ministry on the NSU campus. Link
Christopher Anthony Moss, 39, of Tulsa, charged with having child pornography on his computer and of traveling to Ottawa County to have sex with what he thought was an underage girl now faces an additional charge of sexually abusing a minor. Link

The second trial of Jake Andrew Reed, 47, of Parkhill, accused of raping and sodomizing a girl who was 13 years old when she first made the allegations ends with a hung jury. Link
Custer County issues warrants for former Hilldale Public Schools Band Director Danny Brian Giacomo, already facing child sex charges in Muskogee County. The Custer County charges allege five counts of second-degree rape and one count of forcible sodomy. Link
Albert Thorpe, 43, a man convicted in 1992 of rape and lewd molestation of a 14-year-old girl has been helping coach a 12- and 13-year-old girls’ basketball team at a school gym, school officials said. Link

An Ada couple, Stacie Michelle Wilson and Christopher Long, is facing ten child molestation charges for allegedly taking lewd photos of a 5-year-old girl. Link
