Elizabeth Catherine Frame, the 24-year-old daughter of Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor, was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge at 1:55 am Friday morning in Tulsa.

According to the arresting officer’s report, Frame was originally stopped for running a stop sign and when the arresting officer detected the smell of alcohol he had Frame perform various field sobriety tests which she failed.

The officer’s report indicates that Frame refused a a breath test, stating she wanted to call her mother first for counsel.

Frame was booked into the jail at 3:12 am and was released on $1,100 bond at 5:02 am.

On Friday, Mayor Taylor acknowledged her daughter’s arrest and stated “it was a family matter, they are a strong family and would handle it privately.”

Mayor Taylor, your daughter’s drunk driving arrest is neither a “family matter”, nor will it be “handled privately” as there are going to be a lot of law abiding citizens watching to see how this criminal matter is handled.
