Tulsa Without DelGiorno
Tulsa’s without the air pollution that is Michael DelGiorno is as refreshing as an Oklahoma spring shower.
Hopefully there will be many more weeks without the air pollution that formerly flowed from radio station KFAQ during DelGiorno’s reign of hypocrisy and double standards.
Unfortunately we can not count on it as DelGiorno’s sidekick, Gwen Freeman, has moved over to the host’s chair and Tulsa gadfly Chris Medlock has been sworn in as ‘court jester and sidekick’.
Evidently the station could not find anyone else to take the jobs.
Rumors still persist that DelGiorno was fired. Others have it that Journal Broadcast Group let him out of his contract and that he simply moved on to a bigger market. What is without question is that DelGiorno will not soon be forgotten. This owing to a couple of lingering lawsuits which DelGiorno’s sudden departure will not terminate.
The oldest lawsuit is one for defamation brought against DelGiorno and Journal Broadcasting Group by Tulsa City Councilor Bill Christiansen. The most recent, filed just this past January, is a foreclosure on the former DelGiorno home by Bank of New York. Both are striking and educational in that DelGiorno who presented himself as “Mr. Goodie Two Shoes” seems to have problems with telling the truth and paying his bills.
Of course DelGiorno is not without his fans such as Mike Bates and Chris Medlock, both of whom DelGiorno used as shills for his cause. Bates in a A farewell to Michael DelGiorno tries to paint a smiley face on the situation pointing out that DelGiorno is going to the leading talker in Nashville.
Is going from ‘drive time’ host in Tulsa to second fiddle in Nashville much of a step up?
Or was it simply a matter of the only job that DelGiorno could land owing to his reputation?
Oh well, at least it is a job and maybe, just maybe, in Nashville DelGiorno will avoid the casinos that are so common in Oklahoma and therefore be able to make his house payments…
In the meantime, Tulsa and Oklahoma are a lot better off since DelGiorno’s departure and as for Nashville, well…
He is Nashville’s problem now.

TAKE HIM BACK! What did we do to you?????
This popous jacktail, fake Christian has actually got me to quit listenng to my talk radio (WWTN) between 9-1pm after 10 years of listening. Just one look on Google has shone me so many websites telling his true nature. Gambling, not paying debts, foreclosures…… Christian?????? Did I miss that part?
Thanks alot Oklahoma. Couldn’t you have sent him to Alaska and those lonesome Carribou that we can’t drill near.
All that “snake-oil” from that salesman may just save the economy.
