Stupid Is As Stupid Does
Can anyone think of anything more stupid that trying to pass counterfeit cash at a police station?
If you can please do not tell Crystal Bell and Ronnie Tarr of Ada, Oklahoma.
They already have enough problems.
According to this Ada Evening News Report trying to pass ‘funny money’ is exactly what Bell attempted to do at the Ada Police Department to pay a fine for Tarr, who was waiting for her in the vehicle, where yep, you guessed it, the cops later discovered illegal drugs.
The “road to jail” was paved with three counterfeit $20′s which Bell carried into the police station and the original allegedly found by police in Tarr’s wallet.
In addition to the ‘funny money’ and drugs allegedly found in the possession of the genius couple, there’s also the matter of the $2500 check from Cleburne, Texas, which was found in Bell’s purse, and of which she said it may have been forged and she intended to turn it into the police but was too busy.
Once it is all said and done, Bell and Tarr will probably have a lot of ‘time’ on their hands to contemplate where their plan went wrong.
But honestly, does anyone think they are smart enough to figure it out?
