I tried the Tulsa PD crime mapper and since the Fair is not in "Tulsa Proper" that entire area has NO CRIMES REPORTED! (Guess it is county property and does not count?) While I am sure the County may have the crime records nobody is talking about how safe or dangerous that section of town is. I am sure cars were broken into, some even stolen while on the fairgrounds and the only thing I saw the news talk about was the fact that cameras would keep us safe? Well while they may record the event; NOTHING WAS DONE TO STOP IT, let alone report the crime after it happened. It would be nice to know just how much trouble that area has but fear the reason nobody will ever talk about it is simple = MONEY! I have to wonder just how much crime went on while the fair was in town?
