Cold and Dark in OK
As many know from first hand experience the days since last weekend have been very cold and dark for many people in Oklahoma in the wake of a disasterous ice storm.
Over a half-million customers of various electric companies and co-ops lost power owing to what is being called the biggest power outage in Oklahoma history. Some are being told it will be two weeks or longer before they will see their power restored.
We are among the fortunate few tonight, as our power was restored earlier this evening.
Many thousands were not so fortunate and are spending another night in the cold and the dark. Our hopes and prayers are with them tonight and throughout what will certainly be the long and difficult recovery from this disaster.
