The Poster Boy For Stupid

Meet 18-year-old Cory Ray Sisson.
Cory may well become the “Poster Boy For Stupid”.
This owing to his remarkable record for, well, for stupid.
And it is a remarkable record, considering that Cory has managed to rack up a total of five felony arrests and two felony convictions since his 18th birthday on October 2, 2007.
Court records indicate that on October 11, 2007, only 9 days after celebrating his 18th birthday, Cory was busted by the Broken Arrow Police Department on a felony count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 2,000 feet of a park, school or public housing facility. Strike 1.
A little over a month later, on November 20, 2007, the Tulsa Police Department arrested Cory on charges of second degree burglary, knowingly receiving/concealing stolen property (2 counts), public intoxication and possession of burglary tools. Strike 2.
On January 30, 2008 Cory Ray Sisson pleaded guilty to all charges resulting from the two above cases and Tulsa County Judge Millie Otey deferred sentencing on Cory for four years, imposed fines and fees and ordered Sisson to complete 80 hours of community service within 180 days and Cory walked out of the courtroom a free criminal.
But he did not make it 30 days before he was arrested again. This time by the Broken Arrow Police Department, which on 2/20/08 arrested Cory Ray Sisson on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled drug and driving with license suspended. Following this arrest, Sisson was held in jail on bonds totaling over $20,000. Sisson’s attorney sought a bond reduction. Strike 3.
While Sisson was trying to make bond on the charges associated with Strike 3, an additional charge of breaking and entering with unlawful intent was filed on March 12, 2008 following a Tulsa Police Department investigation. Strike 4.
On March 13, 2008 Sisson was arraigned on the various crimes with which he was charged since his January 30, guilty pleas. His bond amount remained at $20,000 and he was remanded to jail.
On March 14, 2008 Cory Ray Sisson appeared in Tulsa County District Court for a bond reduction hearing and Judge Allen Klein reduced Sisson’s bond from $20,000 to $1,000. Sisson made bond and according to jail records was released from jail at 8:00 pm on March 15, 2008.
He managed to stay a free man for only 27 hours.
Jail records indicate that at 11:00pm on March 16, 2008 Cory Ray Sisson was arrested by the Tulsa Police Department on multiple felony charges, including attempted burglary in the 1st degree, attempted breaking and entering, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, carrying a firearm while intoxicated and a misdemeanor count of public intoxication. Cory Ray Sisson is currently being held on bond totaling $31,600. Strike 5.
It does not take a genius to see where this is heading.
Over the course of a few short months Cory Ray Sisson has gone from a simple drug possession arrest to one involving an attempted break-in while carrying a firearm. Unless Sisson is locked up, where he belongs, odds are that sooner rather than later someone is going to be injured or killed as the result of Sisson’s stupidity and his criminal nature.
It’s clear that 18-year-old Cory Ray Sisson is a habitual criminal, unfit to remain among the law abiding members of society and that at any time Sisson is on the street, innocent people are in danger.
All that remains to be seen is whether Tulsa County judges are as stupid as Cory Ray Sisson.
Thus far their track record is not very good when it comes to Sisson.
Hopefully they have learned their lesson as it is clear Cory never will…

To say that he is stupid is pretty accurate; most 18 yr olds aren’t the wisest in the world, though he takes the prize. I doubt he started this crap the moment he turned 18. He probably has a long juvenile record that the courts kept sealed and the media refused to post because he was a minor. This is what happens when kids are given a pass JUST BECAUSE they are under 18. Some kids, like this one, are just thugs who need to be locked up.
To say he will NEVER learn his lesson is a bit presumptious, don’t you think? After all, we aren’t talking about a 45 yr old man here. We are talking about an 18 yr old boy.
No, he is NOT a man. Besides, “men” don’t do this stuff. He’s not a man chronologicqlly, nor mentally.
Looks like a typical Okie mouth breather…
I don’t know…………his mouth looked closed to me.
This is to all you people who have commented on this. I am his younger sister; I really don’t appreciate you talking about stuff that you know nothing about. This is none of your business. You are all acting like you’re in middle school again. He has had a hard life. He caught his first charge when my dad left us. My dad Ray Sisson left for work one day and never came home. None of my family heard from him for a week. Finally he called, he told my mom that he moved in with his mom and he was not coming home. We were devastated we didn’t know what to do. But we got though it till our house was foreclosed on. We where homeless for a year my brother stayed at my grandmothers’ house while my dad moved in with his new wife. Cory had turned to drugs by that time. The drugs Cory used numbed the pain he felt. Cory lost the one person he loved the most, he saw my dad as a hero till he walked away from us. That made Cory feel like he was trash. That was why he turned to drugs. The drugs make him do stupid things; he realized that but by that time it was to late. He had a problem and now he recognizes that. He regrets the things he did and takes full responsible for them. He remains in prison but is making the best out of it he is taking GED classes and works in prison. My mom and I go see him ever week. He is doing great so far and I can’t wait till he gets released. Me, my family and Cory’s future is looking really bright. So to all you haters move on there is nothing you can do about this. He will get out and he will be a good member on this community. No matter what you think about him. His is an awesome person, I look up to him and I am proud to call me my big brother.
Securely, Steffey Nicole Sisson
His fourteen year old sister.
