Eugene Bond – Well Duh!
From the “Well Duh!” department at Bubbaworld comes word that Eugene Bond is facing a lewd acts charge on allegations that he molested his 8-year-old daughter.
Bond’s case would not be much different from hundreds of similar allegations and criminal cases each year in Oklahoma EXCEPT for:
(1) The fact that Bond is an inmate at the Joseph Harp Correctional Center and he allegedly molested has daughter in the visitor room which was reportedly filled with about 300 people at the time.
(2) The fact that Bond has one rape and two lewd molestation convictions on his record and is doing two life sentences.
(3) The fact that prison guards were clueless to what was going on and would have likely remained clueless were it not for the wife of another inmate cluing them in.
(4) That Rebecca Bond, Bond’s wife, who brought the child to the prison told investigators that she noticed her husband was sexually aroused by his daughter on prior visits.

When the Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massie was asked about inmates sentenced for sex offenses having visitation with children, he said “It’s a little more complicated than just saying, that sex offenders shouldn’t be allowed to visit.”
Massie also said, “We’re surveying every correctional center in the country to see if they have special rules or visitation for these kinds of issues.”
Evidently it wasn’t that complicated to say that sex offenders shouldn’t be allowed to visit, as Bond will no longer be allowed to visit with his daughter.
Well Duh!
