Tavares Donnell Colbert Busted For Shooting Own Genitals
It isn’t every day that some fool shoots himself in the genitals.
It’s even less often that a person gets arrested after shooting themselves in the genitals.
However for the unfortunate soul known as Tavares Donnell Colbert both circumstances came true while he was allegedly preparing to sell a gun on a convenience store parking lot.
Here’s a snippet of a news report on the massacre:
A felon was jailed after he told police he shot himself in the genitals while preparing a gun for sale. Police were called at 9 a.m. Saturday to the emergency room at Southwest Medical Center, 4401 S Western Ave., where officers found the bleeding man.
He told police he bought a gun on the street in Kansas and had planned to sell it in a convenience store parking lot near SE 44 and Shields Boulevard. On the way there, he pulled over to make sure the gun functioned properly.
While it apparently is not illegal to shoot yourself in the genitals, it is a crime to do so if one is a convicted felon as is the unlucky Mr. Colbert.
