Tommy Vernon Butts Busted In Brawl Outside Bar
Tommy Vernon Butts, 42, of Owasso, Oklahoma has been arrested following a brawl outside the Jack of Clubs bar in the 11900 block of North Garnett, in Tulsa County.
It is alleged that Butts spat on another man’s wife. Reportedly Butts was beaten unconscious by the woman’s husband and two other men in the wake of the alleged spitting incident.
Butts’ arrest report indicates that after Butts was beaten, he was placed in his pickup truck by the men who beat him. It is alleged that at that point Butts started the truck and attempted to run over the other men, pinning the husband of the woman against another vehicle breaking both of his legs.
The arrest report goes on to reveal that Butts was then dragged from his truck, beaten and kicked until unconscious. When sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene, Butts was found unconscious and bleeding on the ground.
Reportedly, Butts also suffered two broken legs in the fracus. On Monday, Butts was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with bond set at $25,000.
Two other men, Trevor Cary, 26, and Richard Brown, 31, both of Collinsville were also arrested and booked into jail on complaints of aggravated assault and battery with bond on each set at $2,000.
All three men have been released from jail on bond.
