Jeffery Tallon, 25, a homeless man, has been arrested in Tulsa on allegations that he assaulted and raped another homeless man.
A 25-year-old homeless man was arrested Tuesday amid allegations he raped another homeless man in West Tulsa.
According to an arrest report, Jeffery Tallon attacked the 55-year-old victim near the Katy Jogging Trail, southeast of Zeigler Park, just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
The victim was found unconscious with multiple facial and head injuries and was bleeding excessively, the report said. He had a tear from the attack so extensive it required surgery, and hospital staff later told police the victim also had broken ribs and internal bleeding, the report said.
Following his arrest, Tallon was booked into the Tulsa jail on charges of aggravated assault and battery and first-degree rape.
Bond for Tallon was set at $52,000.
