Sharon Kay Smith has been formerly sentenced to 40 years in prison for the abuse of a then 4-year-old Braggs, OK boy who is her great-nephew. Smith was found guilty by a Sequoyah County jury in June of this year. The jury recommend 40 years on each of three counts and a $5,000 fine. The [...]

The child abuse trial for Sharon Kay Smith and daughter Brenna Ann Smith which was supposed to start today in Sequoyah County District Court has been delayed until May. At this time we don’t have all the particulars, hopefully we will shortly.
